First, choose a feeling or emotion that you want your song to reflect. It could be happiness, sadness, anger or any other feeling you would like to express.
You are going to create this song on a website called Chrome Music Lab. I will give you a link later. It is very easy to use.
Each box that you click on becomes a color and will be a note in your song. The higher the box, the higher the note will be. You can change the instrument where it says "Marimba".
The boxes at the bottom are for rhythm instruments like drums and percussion to add in if you wish.
Choose the tempo, which is the speed.
If you don't like it, change it! There is no right or wrong.
Once you feel that your song reflects the emotion that you chose, you are done. You can click SAVE and if you want to keep it to listen to another time, copy and paste the link into an email or other document.
If you want to share it with your teacher, you can email the link to them.
